Sly Is Peaked

Sly's Peak Trans Moment

My Peak Libfem moment had been coming for a while, but Slutwalk was the straw that broke the camel's back. Like--we're going to get revenge on creepy men by objectifying ourselves...WHAT???

My peak trans moment happened when I looked at photos of that display at the SF public library with the t-shirts saying things like "I punch TERFs" and "Die cis scum." I thought "this is a call to violence, and I cannot support this."

My peak queer moment came with the queer community's defense of DDLG kink.

Let me expand on the above.
Going "peak trans" does not mean that I hate transgender people or that I think they should be treated as lesser human beings in any way. It means that I refuse to be bullied by the TRA cult any longer. I went along with rhetoric such as "trans women are women" until I realized that the TRAs wanted non-trans women to sit down, shut up, and "choke on my ladydick." TRAs are no different from MRAs. They want women to be silent and subservient, to speak only when spoken to, and only to say "yes, master, I will suck your cock as you command."
In the past, feminists tended to support trans people for the simple reason that both women and trans people are treated as second class citizens and are often objectified and exploited. There was no widespread insistence that lesbians should gladly consent to having sex with pre-op trans women or they are bad, nasty, icky TERFs. There were no ludicrous assertions that trans women are biologically women.
Previously the thought was: trans people are people too, and they deserve equal rights and fair treatment. Their struggles should be acknowledged. I fully supported that and still do. What I cannot support is this idea that there shall be no questioning, criticism, or debate of any kind, even when it comes to the health and well-being of vulnerable young people. You shut your damn TERF mouth unless it's choking on a ladydick.
Yeah--can't get behind that.
Further, I (and others) notice that one really doesn't see trans men mentioned in this rhetoric. Trans men don't go around carrying signs saying "Trans Men are Men." Trans men are not vocally demanding access to men's changing areas. Trans men are not insisting that terms such as "father," "penis," and "scrotum" are "violence against trans men."
Things that make you go HMMM...
And also form the opinion that TRA = MRA.
The TRA agenda actually harms trans people who only want to live their lives in peace and mean no harm to anyone. I support these people. I don't support the TRA cult.
That is what I mean by Peak Trans.

DDLG means "daddy dom/little girl" and it's as nasty as it sounds. I do not give one single fuck about "kink shaming."
Also, notice that there is not a great prevalence of MDLB (which would be mommy dom/little boy).
As long as all participants are consenting adults and no-one is being severely harmed either physically or mentally, I'm not saying this kink should be illegal. I'm just saying that I'm going to give it the side-eye, and I'm not going to cheer it on out of fear that I may be "kink shaming." Fuck that noise.
That is why DDLG was my Peak Queer moment.

I once saw a post on Tumblr which said: "if my feminism is not inclusive and intersectional, then who is it for?"
My answer is this.
My feminism is for women and girls.
Intersectionality is fine, but we have allowed feminism to be co-opted by the TRA Cult in the name of Appearing Inclusive and not wanting to be viewed as Mean, Hairy-Legged, Man-Hating TERFs.
It's time to take back feminism and make it for women again.

Shame on U.S.

The government loves to sweep the incarceration of people with Japanese ancestry under the rug. Hardly anyone knows about this shameful period in history. It’s being brought back into the light now because people who were in the Japanese internment camps are speaking up about what is being done to the Latino refugees.

What is being done to the Latino refugees now is a human rights abuse, and those responsible should stand trial.

Of course men had to make it about themselves so much that goddamn moderators had to step in and shut it down. Of fucking course.

This is horrifying. Girls and women are treated with so little regard. When I was seven years old the doctor discovered that I had an imperforate hymen. With no warning and no anesthetic, my father held my hands down while the doctor cut through the imperforate hymen. I screamed bloody murder. I also repressed the memory until after I had given birth to my son when I was 25 years old.
The first few times I felt that I “should” give into intercourse when I was a teenager, it hurt like hell. My female friends thought I was being overly dramatic. When I went to the student health center after being raped, I tried to talk to the medical student on duty about pain during sex, and he tried to explain to me that when a virgin has sex for the first time. I burst into tears and said that he didn’t understand anything I was saying. I had an infection as well and let him examine me (a nurse was in the room) but I was extremely traumatized.
I had a nervous breakdown during that year. I tried to tell my father what happened, and he told me that I shouldn’t have “put myself in that situation.” (I was drunk and went with a guy to his place.) The guy came back later and said that he hoped he’d gotten me pregnant so we’d have to stay together. I told him to get away from me and never come back again. I didn’t go to the police because I knew I wouldn’t be believed since I’d been drunk when it happened.
I’m sorry to have gone off on a tangent. I just remember all my life not being treated well by doctors or listened to because I’m a woman. And people wonder why I went close to 30 years without ever getting a pelvic exam.
What this woman went through is even more horrifying than what happened to me.

Sly's Independence Day 2019 Question: Who Are You Supporting?

Next time you decide to support people who spout epithets like "punch a TERF" and "die cis scum," please remember that the person who popularized the term "cis" is Char the Butcher, a white supremacist.
Not wanting to be affiliated with racists promoting violence is not being "transphobic."
At least think about who you are supporting.
You are not supporting trans people who are just wanting to live their lives in peace.
You are supporting violent individuals like Char the Butcher.
Read it from top to bottom.
This is not hyperbole. This is a call to violence.
So-called "TERFS" are women. Thus, this is a call for violence against women.
Is this really "woke?"
"But I don't hate trans people."
I don't either, and I supported the TRA agenda until I realized what it was really about.
It isn't about defending trans people from hate.
It's about promoting the TRA agenda.
A lot of trans people don't approve of the TRA agenda either, but they have been bullied into silence.
The TRAs are trying to take over feminism, and liberal feminists are rolling over begging to play ball with them so they don't look like a bunch of fat, unattractive, hairy-legged meany-mean man-haters.
Like the late Andrea Dworkin, I'm a feminist, and not the fun, sexy kind.
"If my feminism isn't intersectional and supporting this, that, and the other thing, who is it for?"
Women.
Feminism is for women.
Feminism does not have to encompass every other group.
We can be supportive of other marginalized groups and not roll them into feminism.
Stop supporting those who are calling for the silencing of women's voices.
Don't parrot calls to violence in the name of being "woke."
Think about what you're saying before you say it.
Think about who is telling you to say it.
This Independence Day, I proclaim that feminism needs to be free from the hateful agenda of TRAs.

Rosemary’s Baby-era Mia Farrow: obviously a man.
So, when Mia grew her hair back to shoulder-length, did she become a woman again? Asking for a friend.
Angus Young in the 1980s: obviously a woman.
So, since Angus got his hair cut short in his older years, he must be a dude again.
Hair collar length or longer = woman
Hair shorter than collar length = man
It’s all about the hair length, people. That is what defines you as a man or a woman. Biological sex is a social construct. Just ask your local TRA!

Greatest Mysteries of WWII: Inside the Japanese Internment Camps (720p)

Pushing Surgery on Vulnerable People

Artist Unknown

I’m a person with two X chromosomes, aka, a woman. After menopause, I was still experiencing bleeding once a year. It was discovered that I had simple endometrial hyperplasia with normal cells and a uterus full of little fibroids and polyps. This means that I have a 1.5% greater chance than a woman with no endometrial hyperplasia of developing endometrial cancer.

My OB/GYN was pushing me to have a hysterectomy. My GP was pushing me to have a hysterectomy. The doctor who would be performing the surgery was pushing me to have a hysterectomy.

In the end, I decided that for a very small increase in the possibility of developing endometrial cancer, the risks of hysterectomy were not worth it. If I had abnormal cells and/or complex hyperplasia, I would have had the hysterectomy because the increase in the chance of developing endometrial cancer at that point is 36% greater than for a woman with no hyperplasia.

Further, I feel like there continues to be a pervasive attitude that a post-menopausal woman is no longer able to function as a baby factory, so why should she keep her uterus?

If for no other reason than not wanting to spend two months recovering from major surgery, I tend to be very conservative about having major surgery. I always believe in trying less invasive and catastrophic methods prior to having permanent alterations made to my body.

The Trans Cult convinces vulnerable people that having life-altering surgery performed is THE only way to deal with feelings of dysphoria.

I also have a degree of body dysmorphic disorder and am a large person who tried to hate myself thin over the course of 33 years. It didn’t work.

Instead of having gastric bypass surgery, which would have permanently altered my ability to eat normally (as it happens, I inadvertently end up restricting my food intake because I am food insecure) I did a lot of exploring and discovered the concepts of size acceptance and health at every size. I ended up instead of having a healthy organ (my stomach) amputated telling the diet industry and hateful attitudes towards fat people to go fuck themselves.

I don’t see myself as beautiful and I never will. But I use techniques to cope with my low self-esteem rather than permanently altering my body.

Being a girl in this society is rough. I’m honestly glad that encouraging kids to transition wasn’t a thing when I was young, or I might have ended up believing that I was “actually a boy” because I hated the way girls were treated. Honestly, with the way girls are treated in this society, who would want to be a girl?

Call me crazy, but isn’t it better to fight back against the sexism and homophobia which make people think that they “should” be the opposite sex rather than having procedures to turn you into a permanent medical patient. Shouldn’t you at least give the least invasive option a try first?
