Open Your Eyes

 nansheonearth

 callioscope

I think some people realized saying “feminazi” was starting to reflect badly on them so they shifted to “TERFs, who are just like nazis” instead. Every generation needs its own inventive way to legitimize its fear and disgust for female liberation, and this permutation is no different.

It speaks volumes that people find this comparison accurate. “Feminazi” and “nazi terf” are statements about the speaker’s own emotional reactions: they either find nazism so trivial or female liberation so horrifying that they find truth in this comparison.

 winterterf

That last bit….. that’s exactly it.

 cockk-dealer

No, they compare TERFs to nazis because you spend your time allying yourselves with the far right so you can bash a minority group.

There are also some people who hate feminists or radical feminists who like saying cringey things like “feminazi”.

 kritisch-meinschatz

where did you learn about radical feminism? because it clearly wasn’t in an academic setting if you genuinely believe this. it’s narrow-sighted and racist.

radical feminism is at the forefront of women’s rights movements in countries across africa, the middle east, south and east asia and south america, who are actively pushing back against the systemic abuse (fgm, child brides, no education, forced modesty, the infanticide of girls, etc.) maintained by their far-right governments.

not to mention, it’s disgustingly insensitive to insinuate they are comparable. nazi’s didn’t “bash a minority group”, they attempted to commit a genocide and facilitated eugenics through euthanasia and mass sterilisation. they built and used ghettos, and then camps, to ethnically cleanse. you are purposefully misrepresenting and diminishing an era of history that saw the orchestrated deaths of millions of people (mostly jews, romani and disabled people amongst others) in hospitals and death camps.

 cockk-dealer

>>where did you learn about radical feminism? because it clearly wasn’t in an academic setting if you genuinely believe this. it’s narrow-sighted and racist.

I did learn about radical feminism in academic settings, actually. And no, this isn’t racist.

>>radical feminism is at the forefront of women’s rights movements in countries across africa, the middle east, south and east asia and south america, who are actively pushing back against the systemic abuse (fgm, child brides, no education, forced modesty, the infanticide of girls, etc.) maintained by their far-right governments.

Yes, it is. I’m not talking about radical feminism here, I’m talking about TERFs. I know that some - not all - radical feminists in developing countries are technically TERFs, and that they don’t tend to ally themselves with the far right, but most of them don’t put their energy into giving the subject much in the way of thought.

The vast majority of card-carrying TERFs are middle-class white women in Western countries, who ally themselves with (which doesn’t mean they are the same as or believe the same things as) far-right (not neo-nazi, but bigoted conservative) conservative groups in solidarity in order to give credence and power to their views which are based on excluding trans people. These views are based on the theory that trans people represent a threat to them or a conflicting access need,  which in theory encourages separation, but in practice tends to involve oppressing trans people’s rights.

TERFs do not ally themselves with Nazis, but to many people, the distinctions between the extreme ends of the bigoted far right and Neo-Nazis isn’t a big one and they treat the two as the same.

However, people contain multitudes and it’s possible to be in favour of civil rights for women in minority groups and still bash members of a specific minority group you don’t like, such as trans people.

Also, most TERFs believe that the people they are bashing aren’t women, and it’s quite easy for a shitty woman who advocates for women’s rights to bash men from minority groups.

But, as per my last paragraph, it’s quite possible for someone to be in favour of civil rights for women and still bash women they don’t like who are from a minority group.

If you believe that I believe that you’re a woman’s rights advocate, but a racist one, then it stands to reason that racist women’s rights advocates exist, which means that it also stands to reason that people who advocate for the rights of cis black women might hate trans women - or trans men, who TERFs might view as women under certain circumstances.

If you don’t believe that trans women are women - whatever, I don’t care. I think trans women are women and trans men are men because that’s how they operate and look, or how they feel, and also because it helps trans people to become more like their desired gender, and also because the average person doesn’t identify with or behave as the opposite sex, and also because they’re gendered characteristics and it’s possible to change gender, and also because transsexuals alter their sex.

You don’t want to believe trans women are women? OK, but they aren’t men, though. Technically, if you want to be literal about it, most trans people are androgynous. Could you believe that they’re men? Sure, just as you can believe they’re women, but that makes them men who have a lot more in common with women than most men, and doesn’t mean you aren’t bashing a minority group.

>>not to mention, it’s disgustingly insensitive to insinuate they are comparable. nazi’s didn’t “bash a minority group”, they attempted to commit a genocide and facilitated eugenics through euthanasia and mass sterilisation.

Nazis are a historical group that no longer exist. People in Western countries are concerned with neo-nazis, who advocate for these policies without enacting them, and other, less extreme members of the far-right. Both of these groups spend their time bashing minorities. In some parts of the world, neo-nazis are more violent, like their Nazi counterparts. But in the West, that isn’t really the issue, and most developing, poorer countries aren’t white and therefore the fascism involved tends to take other routes.

>>they built and used ghettos, and then camps, to ethnically cleanse. you are purposefully misrepresenting and diminishing an era of history that saw the orchestrated deaths of millions of people (mostly jews, romani and disabled people amongst others) in hospitals and death camps.

Yeah, I learnt about the Holocaust, too.

 kritisch-meinschatz

you know what nazi’s are and what they have done, and it’s actually a completely valid comparison that isn’t diminishing or offensive at all because i should have…. just assumed you mean something different than what you wrote?

you said “they compare TERFs to nazis because you spend your time allying yourselves with the far right so you can bash a minority group”. what you wrote justifies the comparison for terfs to nazis and nazis to a group that ‘bash minorities’. it’s grossly insensitive and narrow-sighted.

i’m not a radical feminist, or a terf, or whatever. there is a lot of things i don’t agree with them on. but i have major issues with people flippantly and unnecessarily comparing things to nazism, or in your case, justifying why people compare something to nazism. because it always purposefully misrepresents and diminishes the collective harm of that era, and the continuation of those beliefs and attitudes in the modern day. it’s antisemetic, anti-roma, ableist and racist at it’s core.

nazism isn’t a issue of the past. maybe where you are from neo-nazis are “less violent”; i would argue that “advocating” as opposed to “enacting” doesn’t instantly mean there is less harm, but there certainly are places where nazi ideology is being perpetuated and enacted. maybe you aren’t a part of a community that’s been taught to be hyperaware of it. i don’t know, because i don’t know you. i don’t know if you consider all of europe to be “the west”, i’ve seen a lot of people do that recently.

but i can tell you it’s different where i am from. it’s different in a lot of european countries right now, especially for disabled and romani people.

my whole point is that (being the one who does or justifies) comparing terfs to nazis is not only offensive but it’s actively harmful to the way we perceive those events and when we do that, we erode the way we react to a resurgence. they are not the same thing. there is nothing wrong with highlighting the harm that can be done with anti-trangender rhetoric but it can and should be done without comparing them.

 thesinisterspinster

Id like examples of what bashing is. Can you find one radical feminist who physically harmed a trans person? I dont belive in gender there is no outward set of likes and dislikes and behaviors that make someone a man or woman. Matt walsh has been pretty despritely trying to find gender critical women to talk to him (ie help his cause) and he has been universally met with we dont need your help. Probly because we are too busy working on getting our human rights back wile the left is makeing it harder calling us natzis for speaking about sex.

Sly Sez:

“You spend your time allying with the far right.”

I love this stupid argument.

I’m a lifelong registered Democrat. I’m pretty far to the left on most social issues. In fact, I’ve always been supportive of transsexuals. I believe they should be afforded the same rights and protections as anyone else and allowed to live their lives in peace.

Initially, when the whole modern transactivism mess started, I thought the term “cis” was odd and unnecessary, but I applied it to myself to be polite. I thought I was “being kind” to an oppressed minority group.

I learned that modern transactivism actually has much more in common with queer theory than with protecting the rights of individuals with extreme sex dysphoria. I also began to notice the way women were being erased with language such as “non-men.” I found myself asking why everyone was so hell-bent on pushing the idea that “transwomen are women” but there was no equal fervor for the idea that “transmen are men.”

Then I noticed that anyone who disagreed with even the teeniest iota of the Trans Cult Doctrine was being TERFed. I quickly learned that terfisaslur.com

I peaked.

Anyone who cares about the well-being of children and adolescents and who wants to preserve women’s sex-based protections needs to actually OPEN YOUR EYES and look at what’s going on rather than swallowing the Woke Dogma hook, line, and sinker.

Men Cannot Become Women

nansheonearth
 sapphicshinigami

really sucks how the only transactivist that’s actually somewhat normal is a feminine gay man with extreme internalized homophobia who’s an open anti-feminist that’s bedfellows with the alt-right

 allylikesstuff

“He disagrees with me therefore he’s a male, and males r stupid. And he’s a gay, and gays r stupid. He’s a gay male and gay and gay abd males r stupid. 2 + 2 = 5”

The “alt-right” actually call blaire by her preferred pronouns, so—

 sapphicshinigami

He’s not male because he disagrees with me. He’s male because he has a penis and xy chromosomes. Even if I agreed with him, he would still be male. It’s a biological fact. It’s not up for debate.

And yeah. He’s gay. Because he’s a male. In a relationship with another male. Hope this helps <3

 allylikesstuff

Nah. Just because you were groomed or coerced into being a non binary person and that changed your view point, doesn’t mean you can project and be radical towards other ppl of the same umbrella.

Blaire likes she/her pronouns and lives life presenting feminine and female with female aesthetics and anatomy as apposed to a gay man who is strictly male who likes men. He too can present feminine, but he still can tell you he’s a man.

 sapphicshinigami

Pronouns and presenting feminine don’t make you a woman. Most lesbians aren’t feminine presenting, but they’re still women because they’re adult human females. Clothes, make up, and pronouns don’t make you a woman. Being an adult human female makes you a woman.

 allylikesstuff

Which is what she is. An adult human female.

She has similar brain structure as to her bio counterpart.

She is a straight transgender female.

 nansheonearth

This has been debunked again and again.

Also white has had good brain scanned? When?

 thesinisterspinster

Your brain is gonna reflect what you use it for. Its called neroplasyicity. This can change througout your life depending on what you use your brain for. There is no male or female brains just a collection of avrages.

 Sly's Thoughts:

There are masculine women and feminine men. Masculine women are just as much women as more stereotypically feminine women and feminine men are just as much men as more stereotypically masculine men. I would have thought that the world was getting closer to recognizing this truth and just letting people be who they are without insistence on adherence to outmoded stereotypes, but here we are.

Blaire White is willing to engage in critical thinking rather than immediately resorting to name-calling and seems to be opposed to transitioning young children. I don’t agree with Blaire on everything but I don’t have anything bad to say. It is at least possible to engage in rational discussion with her. However, Blaire is not and never will be a female. Blaire is a male who has undergone surgical and chemical treatments to appear more feminine. I am willing to use she/her pronouns out of respect for Blaire’s preferences. However, I will never agree to the idea that a man can literally become a woman.

I’ve never had any quibble with transsexuals. They should be allowed the same rights and protections as any other human being and allowed to live their lives in peace. I am, however, opposed to the forcing of gender ideology on children and taking away women’s sex-segregated spaces and services as well as the words we use to define ourselves and our experiences.

This Post Is For Girls

lazyxfemme
 livebloggingmydescentintomadness

Girls, if something about a guy scares you or makes you uncomfortable, get away from him as fast as possible. Listen to your instincts. Don’t make excuses. Just run.

 livebloggingmydescentintomadness

Because like a thousand people have felt the need to add comments like “Boys, if a girl scares you” or “People, if a person scares you” and “this goes for everyone” and “this shouldn’t be gender specified” I am going to make it very clear that this post is for girls

THIS POST IS FOR GIRLS.

Why? Because girls are socialized to not be rude, not ‘be a bitch’, to not hurt a man’s feelings, and that they’re being silly and overreacting if something they can’t explain makes them afraid. Because girls are preyed on by men who use every one of these things to their advantage, who lure girls into their control and molest them, rape them, beat them, and kill them. Because it happens every fucking day and girls need to know that if something feels wrong, they need to get the fuck away from that man.

You don’t like that this post is gendered? I don’t like that girls are abused and date raped and murdered every fucking day and they are STILL pressured to “give him a chance” when a man makes them uncomfortable. So get off your pretentious fucking high horse and support girls instead of telling me “this goes for everyone”.

 Sly Sez:

An older boy sexually assaulted me when I was 15 thanks to my being socialized to “be a lady” and “not hurt his feelings.” Instead of telling this gross creeper in no uncertain terms to keep his disgusting hands off me, I tried to hint obliquely that I wasn’t interested.

I’m throwing a content warning on this because I will be describing a sexual assault incident.

This guy was a blind date, a friend of my friend’s boyfriend. He was also the older brother of a guy I knew from school. The four of us went to a movie. He started touching my thigh and trying to kiss me. I asked my friend’s boyfriend for the keys to the car, hoping Mr. Handy would want to stay and watch the movie while I sat in the car and drank beer.

Unfortunately, Mr. Handy followed me to the car. He either took the beer from me or I set it aside, not wanting to spill it in the car. He asked me if I wanted him to put on a condom. I said no. He assumed this meant I was on the pill. I told him “no, I don’t have sex on the first date.”

Which leads me to another thing. How about if we stop pushing the idea that being a virgin is somehow “uncool?”

He grabbed my hand and put it on his penis. I hoped that if I did what he wanted he’d leave me alone. I had an extremely low self-esteem. I didn’t feel like I had the right to say no, I don’t want this. It’s like I became a robot or everything became dreamlike. He “repaid” me for the hand job by shoving his fingers roughly into my vagina. When I got home, there was blood on my panties.

It’s hard to explain why I let this happen. I didn’t want it. I wasn’t really afraid of him. I could have kicked him or started screaming or gotten out of the car. I just went numb. I was molested by my aunt’s first husband when I was very young. I don’t have any specific memories of the event, but it may have contributed to my freezing up when this creep assaulted me.

I started acting out after this event, cutting class, cutting myself, doing drugs. I didn’t even realize that I had been sexually assaulted until many years later. This was the 1980s and because there was no PIV activity, nobody thought of it as sexual assault.

Women and girls are overwhelmingly targeted as potential victims by gross creepers like this guy. So, yeah, this post should be for girls.

Blow Your Stack Saturday: Blithering Nonsense in Sex Miseducation

Image by Pete Linforth from Pixabay

It won't be pretty when society reaps the harvest of the Gender Clown Sex Education being taught in school these days. An entire generation of children is learning unrealistic nonsense about how bodies work.

They are being taught that people can change their biological sex, that some girls have penises and some boys have vaginas. They are being taught that men can have periods and give birth. None of this is true.

Children are being taught to ignore their eyes and ears, to ignore their feelings about creepy adults. Girl Guiding in England was raked over the coals for allowing a male with Magical Laydeefeelz to be camp counselors and sleep in a cabin with prepubescent girls. They did not inform the parents ahead of time that Aunt Milton was going to be in the cabin with the girls.

Children are being encouraged to celebrate kink. Kids have no business knowing what a "furry" is, let alone proclaiming themselves to be "furries."

The name Peter Tatchell immediately raises red flags for me. If it doesn't for you, this is the guy who said that nine-year-old children can consent to sex. Hope it does now. Peter Tatchell has no business teaching children about sex.

https://spinster.xyz/@HebrideanHecate/posts/AL1aJA2AlAJZdvpU0m

https://twitter.com/SafeSchools_UK/status/1542568215234093066

Day 1: Contrary to legislation a #Cambridgeshire school has responded “it is not viable to provide copies of all curriculum materials to parents” to being asked to share resources.

Day 2: Again a refusal to share materials with parents on request, this time school in north of England. ‘Copyright’ was given as the excuse this time. As has been confirmed in today’s #RSEDebate this is incorrect.

Day 3: A school in the south of England has invited the school of sexuality in to discuss pleasure & make playdough vaginas with year 8 girls. They are denying to parents that they have the right to withdraw their children from these lessons. #SafeguardingFail #RSEDebate #PSHE

Day 4: Again south of England a school arranged a dress up for #pride Day & bring in donations for the controversial educate & celebrate charity, led by the even more controversial Peter Tatchell. Yr 8’a were seen wearing cats ears and saying they were furries. #SafeguardingFail

Day 5: A primary school in England told small children men can have babies too. They have not even responded to parental emails of complaint. #SafeguardingFail #PSHEPeeps #PrimaryRocks

Day 6: School in south of England has organised a residential for yr 9’s with mixed sex overnight accommodation. Again ignoring parental complaints. #SafeguardingFail #edutwitter #WomenEd

Day 7: Again south of England (they’re not doing well this week) a college thinks they have the right to refuse to correspond with parents of a 16 year old, bizarrely they also think they can refuse to take a formal complaint about this undermining of Parental responsibility.

Sly Sez:

When I was 11 years old, my art teacher was one of the instructors for the health education program.

She did not have us make play-doh vaginas. We discussed menstruation in a very sensible, clinical fashion. We discussed pregnancy. We also discussed how boys might try to pressure us into sex and that it was our right to say no if we weren't ready. We discussed contraception. Everything was quite age-appropriate, and I think we all benefited from it.

I told the other girls about my second cousin's molar pregnancy (I didn't know that's what it was called at the time) and how she had to get a hysterectomy. There was no discussion of how "men can have periods" or how "people with vaginas can get pregnant if they have sex with people with penises." It was very common sense.

We have regressed since 1976 and been transported to Crazy World.

Sex education is being made hypersexual.

None of this will end well.

FML Friday: Bring Back Common Sense

https://odysee.com/@Radfemspiraling_Jayne:1/xy-are-not-women-:a?r=GTwnGJ4fFBQfzuJgpHVpfKBKaC9b8B16

Common god damn sense. If only everyone had the courage and the clarity of mind to say it out loud from the beginning of this nonsense.

I include myself in the people who wanted to "be kind" and didn't really realize what was going on. I thought I was showing compassion to a tiny minority of people (transsexuals) who were "born in the wrong body" and just wanted to live their lives and be treated with common decency.

Instead, I was supporting a misogynistic and homophobic ideology that gives $$$ to a greedy medical system and advances the causes of a very vocal minority of perverts.

To be clear, I don't think most transsexuals are perverts. I think that most of them are being taken advantage of by soulless predators benefiting from their pain. I do, however, realize that there are some very creepy autogynephiles out there, some of whom are also pedophiles. These are the perverts I'm talking about.

FOAD Thursday: Disney Plus can FOAD

Image copyright Disney
https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2022/06/29/disney-animated-childrens-series-baymax-features-transgender-man-who-menstruates/

I am so tired of seeing breast binding and worse, double mastectomy being performed on psychologically vulnerable teenage girls, being normalized.

The Twanz Cult would have you believe that people like me want the right to ridicule gender-confused teenagers. Far from it. Nobody should be doing that. What these girls need and deserve is a compassionate adult who will hear them out and give them coping tools, not an ideologically captured shill for the childhood Tran$ition Brigade.

I was not gender-confused, but I was psychologically troubled as a teenager. I had an eating disorder. I was cutting and I had nobody I could turn to because the one time I trusted the school counselor and showed her the cuts on my arms, she immediately called my mother even though I begged her not to. Of course when I got home I got yelled at and got no help, which is what I knew would happen. I was eventually put in a psych hospital for a time and treated like a sub-human. This is why I don't necessarily advocate for revealing everything to parents. Sometimes it makes things worse.

I just wonder how many of these transboys are being bullied and/or have been sexually harassed or sexually assaulted. I was bullied mercilessly all through school because I was socially awkward and not pretty. I was sexually assaulted by an older guy when I was 15 but didn't acknowledge it as sexual assault because the penetration was digital, not PIV. It took me 40 years to realize that my self-harm and other acting out got turned up to 11 after that incident because I was suffering from PTSD.

There is no such thing as a man who menstruates, and cutting off a teenage girl's healthy breasts will not make psychological comorbidities or events creating a climate for complex PTSD disappear.

And now, please excuse me while I go cancel my Disney Plus subscription. I've been meaning to do so for a while. This is the kick in the ass that I need.

Here is the reason that I gave Disney Plus for why I was canceling my subscription.

I cannot continue to support a company that has been ideologically captured by the extremist gender cult. The episode of Baymax promoting the idea that "men have periods" was the last straw. Recognizing biological reality is not bigotry, and transgender ideology should not be pushed at children.

I am not a right-wing extremist. I am a registered Democrat who believes in equality for all. Promoting a dangerous ideology that reinforces sex stereotypes and encourages young girls to take cross-sex hormones and have their healthy breasts removed is not equality.

Aside from that, the subscription is simply too expensive. I live on disability payments. I have felt conflicted about having this subscription for a while, but I'm definitely done now.

I have turned off comments for this blog. Nobody ever comments anyway, and I really don't have time to reply to comments even if someone decides to. I'm working on numerous projects and I just want to blow off steam about the ever-increasing levels of Crazy in the world.

WTF Wednesday with Sly: Time to Take off the Blinders (and binders)

The winner of the Women's Skateboarding Competition is Shiloh Caton.
Ricci Tres is male.

The following is a response to a recent post from Women are Human.

https://www.womenarehuman.com/29-year-old-male-with-female-identity-beats-girl-aged-13-in-skateboarding-contest

I am a 57-year-old former nurse who identifies as a writer. I have never won a literary competition against others in my age group. Therefore, I have decided to identify as a 6-year-old. I will now whup the snot out of all the other writers in the early elementary school writing competition!

I'm sure nobody would ever allow this. I would be told to "pack it up and go home, Grandma," by those running the grade school writing competition. That's as it should be. Sure, I have ADHD, which qualifies as a learning disability, but intellectually I am on par with other adults and should be competing against other adults.

Males are physically stronger than females. This includes males who have found their inner Shania and so Man, they feel like a Woman. It doesn't matter how long they have been taking cross-sex hormones.

It was amusing to see the Trans Cult hold Caitlyn Jenner up as an icon until Caitlyn, who won Olympic gold as Bruce, acknowledged biological reality and stated that transwomen, aka biological males, should not compete against biological females. Then the Trans Cult displayed how quick they are to pile on anyone who disagrees with them in any way, including transsexuals.

I think most people who are trying to "be kind" really have no idea what's going on. They believe they are fighting against a bunch of religious right meany-means desiring open season to call transsexuals freaks and deprive them of basic human rights. What's really going on is sexual stereotypes being reframed as progressive. However, now instead of telling feminine men to "stop being sissies" or butch women to be more feminine, the script says feminine men should take female hormones and have their testicles removed and their penises inverted while masculine women need to have their healthy breasts removed and a phallus created from skin and muscle harvested from the arm or thigh.

As if it could get worse, this whackadoodie bill of goods isn't just being sold to gender dysphoric adults. It's being pushed on vulnerable, gender-confused kids. Research shows that many of the girls who present with ROGD are on the autism spectrum and have psychological comorbidities that are being ignored in favor of the Happy Rainbow Teetus Deletus. Every so-called medical professional involved in "transitioning" children should be held accountable for medical malpractice. Sadly, I doubt this will happen.

The "Be Your Authentic Self" Lie

The "being your authentic self" gambit has been used by the beauty industry, the diet industry, and the plastic surgery industry forever. Consider the idea that if I were to lose weight, get asteroid-sized silicone breast implants, dye away my gray hair, remove all my body hair, and wear a crap-ton of makeup to hide my complexion flaws while covering my naturally scanty eyelashes with long false eyelashes, I would magically become my true self. It's bullshit. I'd just be a smoother, thinner version of me with fake boobs, dyed hair, apparently flawless skin, and long, fake eyelashes. I'd still have the same problems I have now, but I'd have to spend a lot more time maintaining a ridiculous illusion of youth while forcing myself to conform to a rigid set of beauty standards. Been there, done that. No, it didn't make me happy. It was an insidious lie.

The gender cult version of this lie is even worse because it pushes people with gender dysphoria to rush into extreme, irreversible, harmful measures to ease their distress with themselves. One can stop dyeing their hair and wearing excessive makeup, stop removing all their body hair, stop engaging in rigid, punitive dieting routines, and have breast implants removed. It is impossible to reconstruct functioning reproductive organs that have been removed, cross-sex hormones cause lasting and sometimes permanent alterations to the body, and puberty blockers are not the benign, reversible drugs that the pro-affirmation gender disciples want people to believe they are.

Joe Biden: Out of Touch and No Friend to Women

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=xzKpYD534ig

Joe Biden is so out of touch.

The choice was between him and Dump. The other parties count for nothing in the US. Many of us who voted Biden did so because Dump is a frothing-at-the-mouth, raving lunatic and is stupider than a box of turds. I'm also gobsmacked at anyone who claims that Dump is any friend to women. The man is the walking embodiment of sexual harassment, and everyone forgets his statement about punishment for abortion. If Dump were still in office, he would 100% be supporting Putin.

To be honest, I mostly expected Biden to be a non-entity. He has proven himself to be quite the puppet for the Kweer Klown Kommunity.

I'm well to the left as far as welfare issues go, but at this point, the right makes more sense with the LGBTQWERTY lunacy. However, aligning with the right too much will hurt the LGB and women in the end.

Women come out as the losers at either end of the political spectrum. The left can't tell you what a woman is. The right knows what a woman is: it's that lesser human that belongs in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant.

The Never-Ending Hyperbole of Chase Strangio

https://elizamondegreen.substack.com/p/dear-chase-strangio?s=r

And now, just for fun, here's Cheese Stringio in he/him's infinite wisdom.

Cheese, old chap, as a woman who has gone through menopause, I am a woman who can't get pregnant. I have never gotten the impression that anyone is saying I should pretend I don't exist or should stop existing.

Women are allowed to discuss menstruation without having to acknowledge that there are People Who Don't Menstruate. In fact, I want women to discuss menstruation. It's high time it stopped being a taboo subject. Lay off the hyperbole.

Your Terven Pal,

Peter Pan Syndrome + Trauma = Gender Medicine for Females

A response to the following post from Eliza Mondegreen's Substack post about E. Page's interview in Esquire Magazine.

 https://elizamondegreen.substack.com/p/i-could-not-picture-myself-as-a-woman

"I could not picture myself as a woman aging."

The title suggests a degree of Peter Pan syndrome as well as untreated trauma and psychological issues. E. Page discusses panic attacks and eating disorders. Somehow, the cure for these issues is a mastectomy and cross-sex hormones to emulate the appearance of a male. E. Page does not look so much like an adult male as an androgynous adolescent.

Androgynous adolescent is the goal appearance of many females with restrictive eating disorders (anorexia.)

I was 32 years old when I was sexually assaulted in 1997. At that time, the En Vogue treatment was to prescribe drugs (SSRIs and benzodiazepines.) Not one doctor listened to me when I told them that I had been sexually assaulted. Their goal was to shut me up.

I experienced panic attacks approximately every 20 minutes from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep. Did I consider suicide? Hell yeah I did. It wasn't only the doctors that didn't listen to me either. My own family members told me that I had "gotten over it" when I was sexually assaulted fourteen years previously and I'd get over it again. I never mentioned it again.

I do not respond well to psych meds. SSRIs make me manic and psychotic, two things that I am usually not. I have paradoxical reactions to benzos. Valium is the only one that doesn't trigger rebound panic attacks, and it makes me thick as a brick. These drugs are not a solution to trauma.

After a year of struggling with no help whatsoever, one day the panic attacks stopped. I gave thanks to whatever powers there may be. I have no intention of arguing whether or not such powers exist. That really isn't the point.

I wonder if my sexual assault happened now if I wouldn't have been pushed in the direction of transition even though I never expressed a belief that I was male or a desire to be male. I had a deep-seated hatred of my body that was there before the assault and was exacerbated after the assault. I was fully aware that what happened to me happened because I was female. Not because I "Identify as" female, but because I am objectively, biologically female.

Never mind that I have never wanted to be male (other than when I was menstruating, a hell that I endured once a month for 40 years, and even then my proclamation that I wished I could turn into Guy rather than Sly was mostly a joke.) I genuinely wonder if the Gender Idealogues wouldn't have used the behaviors and distress of a trauma sufferer to push me down the path to transition and I wonder just how many trans-identified females are also suffering from PTSD.

Dumb Identities: Demi

 the-asynjurs-rad-intern

Why do we only see demi-girls and demi-boys and never demi-women or demi-men…

 auntiewanda

Because the gender trend is Peter Pan Syndrome in action.

Ain't that the damn truth?

"Demi" is such an unnecessary concept. I never thought my dislike of casual sex and hookup culture was a kind of sexual orientation, for fuck's sake. Spoilers: it isn't.

Demi is one of those dumb identities proposed by Kweer theorists. Not a hypersexual hoochie mama or himbo always on the prowl for your next hook-up? You're not simply selective or anything so boring as that. You're Kweer!

I'm not "kweer." I'm not demi-anything. I'm a heterosexual female who dislikes hookup culture. If I'm going to be sexually involved with someone, it needs to be someone that I have a strong bond of trust with. At this point in my life, that's nobody on the planet.

Not being interested in sex these days doesn't make me Kweer either.

I'm still simply Super straight, and I'm good with that.

It's fine to be Super-Gay or Super-Bi too.

If you want to call yourself "demi" something, you do you. Whatever gets you through your life. I find terms like "demi" meaningless and unnecessary.

Only One Kind of People Become Pregnant

Nary a one of these people with long hair and heavy makeup will ever become pregnant. I wonder why.

The following is a comment I left on a post about the current danger to reproductive freedom in the United States. The spam filter ate my comment, but I always copy my comments because of aggressive spam filters. I am overall in agreement with the post. It was the title that made me balk.

http://mckennadeanromance.com/first-they-came-for-the-pregnant-people

I agree with your thoughts in the post but had my doubts when I saw the title. There is only one kind of "people" that becomes pregnant: females. No male will ever be pregnant.

I cringe at so-called "inclusive" language in women's healthcare that erases the very people said healthcare is supposed to be there for. A tiny minority of trans-identifying females (transmen) become pregnant. "Inclusive" language would add transmen rather than erasing women. As for people identifying as nonbinary, they are still either male or female. There is no third sex.

This rant isn't directed at you, only at the wording in the post title. As I said previously, I agree with the content of the post. It was well-written, detailed, thoughtful, and thought-provoking. I'm simply frustrated at the way identity politics erases women, who face prejudice because of our sex class, not our gender identity.

Women. The word you're looking for is women.
Dumping tRump is also a great idea. Let's keep him dumped.

While we're at it, here are some more people with long hair (no makeup, though) who could never get pregnant, even if they used she/her pronouns.

The Forced Teaming of the Identity Alphabet Soup

"Hi, I'm Sligh, your snurse. My preferred pronouns are Sley/Slem."

This is a response to a post by Uchenna Umeh, MD.

https://www.kevinmd.com/2022/05/lgbtq-basics-10-things-your-queer-patient-wishes-you-knew.html

Many homosexuals feel that the term "queer" is a homophobic slur. I am not alone in wondering what "queer" even means these days. I know what gay, lesbian, and bisexual mean. Unless I was providing mental health treatment to someone based on discomfort with or bullying over their sexual orientation, I see no reason why I would need to know said sexual orientation. When I worked as a nurse before becoming disabled, I treated all of my patients, their family members, and my co-workers with respect and dignity. I never once demanded to know their sexual orientation before doing so.

The forced teaming of T and all the other letters with LGB causes more problems than it solves. T refers to gender identity. Gender identity is not a sexual orientation. Q is tied in with queer theory which many people of all sexual orientations reject. The Pronoun Brigade has been instrumental in taking the focus away from women in branches of healthcare that exist solely for the treatment of female health issues including pregnancy and menstruation. No male will ever menstruate or become pregnant. Referring to pregnant women as "pregnant people," to mothers as "birthing parents" and to women who menstruate as "menstruators" is dehumanizing language purported to be "inclusive" while erasing women.

I would treat a transsexual patient with the same respect that I treated any other patient. However, I draw the line at corrosive ideology such as "saying only women have a cervix is transphobic" and calling women "cervix-havers or "uterus-havers." No male will ever have a cervix. Transwomen are biologically male. No female will ever have a prostate. Transmen are biologically female. This does not mean they are deserving of scorn or disrespect. It means that biological reality needs to be acknowledged in medicine in order to provide the best care for each patient.

The following was not included in my comment.

The post author states that:

"The best way to begin any conversation is, “Hello, my name is Dr. Lulu, and my pronouns are she/her. May I ask what yours are?” This sends a subtle message to your patient that you are a safe space.

If any physician said that to me, my response would be "I refuse to participate in a homophobic and misogynistic Orwellian ideology. If I desired metaphysical Woo Woo with my medical care, I would have consulted a witch doctor."

The Pronoun Brigade's safe spaces feel entirely unsafe for a gender-critical Truly Exceptional Real Female who is Tired of Explaining Reality to Fuckwits.
